Harlan Bakeries, Inc.,
(HBI) is honored as one of ten Indianapolis companies
to receive “A Blue Chip Award” from the
Indianapolis Financial Group (IFG).

was one of ten companies to be selected by the IFG to
win the prized Blue Chip Award. The awards were presented
at a luncheon held at the Ritz Charles in Indianapolis
on November 16, 2004.
The Blue Chip Business Award program recognizes enterprising
and energetic companies who battle their way thought
the ups and downs of keeping a company going and making
it successful. They look for innovative companies who
solve business problems and move forward. The IFG also
provides quarterly training and networking opportunities
though out the year for award recipients.

To remain viable and enhance competitiveness in today’s
marketplace, you need to be able to adjust to lifestyle

Harlan Bakeries, Inc., established
in 1991, produces Harlan Bigger Better Bagels and Harlan
Giant Gourmet Bagels brands, private-label bagels, contract
manufacturing, and products for in-store bakeries. Harlan
now produces more than just bagels. Harlan Bakeries
